If I may be frank, Joe Biden represents the worst attributes of progressive democrat ideology. The first is that of a corrupt beneficence that assumes we know better and what is best for all, for we are smarter than you and because we refuse to accept that you can think for yourself. Although condescending, the liberal class consider this hybrid political and philosophical comportment as an act of charity and equally a moral obligation. The second is inherent in their policies, which are buttressed on operating on the side of extreme ridiculousness, in many cases even if it requires the sacrificing of personal liberty. Last is the preference to virtue signal (“the action or practice of publicly expressing opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or the moral correctness of one's position on a particular issue.”) rather than address or tackle real tangible problems afflicting the citizenry of this great nation. I would be lacking if I failed too point out that according to Wikipedia, it is a “pejorative neologism for the conspicuous and disingenuous expression of moral values with the intent to enhance one's own image.” To be fair both are correct. Thus, democratic progressive philosophical and political ideology is condescending virtue signaling that purports no desire to provide or offer solutions to the problems of normal citizens, but rather beliefs that make themselves feel good and grow them wealth off of the backs of the lower and middle classes for individual rather than national purposes.

It is no secret historically that no matter what they are called (progressives, democrats, liberals, or socialist), this coterie has desired for decades to disrupt the basic fabric of the United States of America. One could say it began December 20, 1860, when the state of South Carolina left the Union, right before the convening of the 37th United States Congress. It continued with the election of America's first progressive Democratic president, Woodrow Wilson in 1912. This is clear if anyone has read the speeches of Wilson, or any of the books of history on him, his presidency or the period (The Betrayal of The Negro: From Rutherford B. Hayes To Woodrow Wilson by Rayford W. Logan; 1912: Wilson, Roosevelt, Taft and Debs -The Election that Changed the Country by James Chace).

Woodrow Wilson’s writings, speeches and policies make two things clear: he was a devout racist and that he despised the freedoms and liberties advanced in the Constitution of the United States. On the first level, it was extremely evident he did not respect the 15th Amendment of the constitution therefore he did all in his power from demanding segregation of the federal workforce to promoting the Ku Klux Klan. As the 28th president, he was the first southerner to be president since Reconstruction and helped expunge advances African Americans had made since Reconstruction with one of his first actions - segregating federal government employees by race. Some historians assert that he only won because Republican votes split between Taft and Roosevelt.

In this tradition, it is not irrational to see why the foundation of such a political philosophy can only be advanced via the expression of bigotry and divisive politics. It is as if politics for progressive liberals is a religious cult that is grounded in the contention that if one doesn’t have the same beliefs exactly as [I] have, you are evil, sinful, irredeemable and utterly useless or unqualified to be an American citizen worthy of mutual respect Likewise, the advance that what is not approved of in the constitution, must be changed altered or removed completely [abolish the electoral college or pack the Supreme Court]. They, as Wilson, are eager to get rid of what Wilson described as an "obsolete" U.S. Constitution. Wilson perspective on government remain the red blood cells of progressive politics. From large government to taxing the wealthy and employing race-based politics, these have been constant attributes of the democrat platform.

The objective is to obviate the American reality as it currently exists by abrogating the concept of individualism, whether in thought, speech, innovativeness or the expression individualism. The effort promoted by Wilson toward “social justice” never ended. Bigotry, soft or hard remains the same. Rather if it is Wilson and his penchant for racial segregation or Joe Biden and his penchant for mass incarceration. All are rooted on what I presented in the first paragraph. When you say Black Americans for example, don’t have the ability or knowledge to get identification to vote, this is racial bigotry. When you feel you must speak out for and on the behalf of Black Americans in a need to protect or speak for us as we are your pet cats or dogs, this is racial bigotry. These and similar behaviors project the sincere beliefs of the progressive liberal class – they see us [Black Americans] as a helpless, mentally challenged class of people that do not have the capacity to take care of ourselves and with no ability of self-determination. This is the definition of overt racism.

Yes, Biden is a continuation of this malevolent creed. Biden has been in office nearly a half century, yet he has no history of policy to run on of importance and runs away from the only policy record he has for reasons of political expediency. There is his 1984 Comprehensive Control Act which he authored with StromThurmond, who in August of 1957, filibustered for more than 24 hours in an effort to stop the 1957 Civil Rights Act. The act expanded federal drug trafficking and usage prison sentences, repealed the Bail Reform Act of 1966 and introduced civil asset forfeiture. Not to be out done, two years later Biden introduced and got passed the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986 (1986 Crime Bill). This bill had a provision in the law that treated crack cocaine as significantly worse than powder cocaine. It mandated a minimum sentence of 5 years without parole for possession of 5 grams of crack cocaine compared to 5 years for possession of 500 grams of powder cocaine, which devastated and disproportionately impacted Black America. Like the others, this bill had a disparate impact on Black America. Data demonstrates that this law, “which increased the disproportionate incarceration of Black males, also led to differences in college enrollment rates” that resulted in “Black males [having] a 2.2% decrease in the relative probability of college enrollment after” its passage.

Biden’s most renown piece of legislation is up there with Wilson’s Revenue Act of 1913 (Underwood Tariff or the Underwood-Simmons Act – which created the IRS and progressive income tax) and his Federal Reserve Act (both passed in a closed session early in the morning December 23, 1913) which established the Federal Reserve Banking System in the United States for the purpose of making money more elastic (create fiat paper money). Biden’s Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 (1994 Omnibus Crime Bill/Biden Crime Law) was a humdinger. If convicted of conducting a drive-by shooting or carjacking resulting in death, you were given the death penalty automatically. It also reversed a section of the Higher Education Act of 1965 that allowed former prison inmates to receive a Pell Grant for higher education while they were incarcerated. In addition, it authorized the death penalty for 60 new federal offenses, including certain drug offences not related to a homicide. In the five years following its passage, 44 percent of inmates on death row were black. These racial disparities in capital punishment still exist. There is also the provisions that allocated mandatory life sentences for individuals with three or more felony convictions and the allowance for prosecutors to charge 13-year-old children as adults for certain crimes, resulting in more than 65 percent of those sentenced to life in prison as juveniles being black.

The reality is that progressive policies advanced by democrats have never been based on justice and have been buttressed of the politics of racial division and bigotry since the start of the 37th Congress. There is no true belief or genuine interest in promoting policy that will benefit Black Americans nor America as a whole. How can there be when white Antifa youth destroy and burn down Black and other minority American owned businesses? How can it be, if the leader suggest that one is not Black if they do not vote for him? Yes, this is how they see the landscape. They have established a low bar for how they see Black America because progressive liberalism is merely a racial pie topped with white whipped creamed guilt. This is their Potemkin Village: it is them on their way to behead Fyodor Shaklovity to motion the transfer of imperial, elitist, corporatist, plutocratic power prior to arrival of the young Peter the Great. Biden as for now is Peter the Great, but if he wins, he will eventually play the role of Fyodor Shaklovity.

In its insatiable desire to be the wokest in the moment, the progressive left has morphed into a combination of ‘whitey” and the brain and the PC principle of South Park. It is so common place now that they don’t realize how through their double standards that they are revealing their true colors. Imagine for example if a white person said the following:  "This is not going to be the country of [Black] people.” Would this be acceptable? Would this be considered racist or xenophobic? It sure it would be. However, this was not said by a white person, but rather an immigrant refuge named Ilhan Omar and instead of black she used the word white.  Maybe it is no big deal to many but for me, as a black man tired of bigotry and racism regardless of its source, it is a major concern. I hate stereotypes and the collective assignment of categorization over the individual. But this is typical of the virtue signaling, divide and conquer political approach of the left in the United States of America presently. It is as if this is the only thing they can think of or concern themselves with.
As a man born in the segregated South, I can honestly say racism isn’t as bad as many proclaim nor is it as institutional as many desires to believe. If such was the case, all races would be subjugated via the existence of the white Eurocentric political and power structure singularly, but they are not. Take descendants of Asia born in the U.S. including but not limited to Koreans, Indians, Chinese, Koreans and the Japanese.  They too have a history somewhat similar but not the same as slavery. The Japanese could not buy land in in many states and were even interned. The same can be said for the Chinese at the turn of the century. However, these groups do way better in economic and educational outcomes that whites or blacks. Racism would not allow such an outcome on behalf of white benefit if it was a true factor in present day outcomes related to systemic power and oppression. What can be stated is that in these groups, out of wedlock birth is lower and the value of education is higher, as it was for blacks after slavery and during segregation.
Being woke leads to such irrational and spurious conclusions when made in the absence of evidence and data. We see the same when the left harps on Islamophobia and gay rights. On the one had you say to state anything negative about radical Islamic fundamentalist is Islamophobic and xenophobic, yet you paint all white people collectively for the sins of their pigmentation and history and all blacks as being so dumb that we cannot succeed in America because we are black. At the same time with respect to Islamic fundamentalist, claim to be in support of gay rights while ignoring that in Islam being gay is punishable by death historically and presently. Just last week, the Saudi government executed 37 men including many for alleged homosexual acts. But to say this fact is wrong and is considered blatant islamophobia when facts outline this is evident.
Even noting the fact that Ilhan Omar gave a speech at a fundraising event with Hassan Shibly, who is on record for extreme anti-Semitic views against Jews and is the lawyer for Hoda Muthana, a New Jersey–born woman who married an ISIS fighter and in writing has proclaimed her adherence to the Islamic State, is an attack on all Muslims albeit specific individuals are named. This is the issue democrats will have to address - how their double standards and inconsistent logic show that they are not truly concerned about the issues of identity they proclaim to signal support for.
Do not think I am picking on Omar because I am not. Let us take Elizabeth Warren to task equally. The announced Democrat presidential candidate recently penned and op-ed in which she too proclaimed and outlined a serious issue in existence – black female mortality. However, her rationale for the outcome in her view was racism without evidence. Warren promulgated that the reason that “Black women are three to four times more likely than white women to die from pregnancy or childbirth-related causes” was mainly due to Racism. My query was why not sexism? American Medical Association data show that more than 85 percent of obstetricians and gynecologists are women. Moreover, data indicates that “ob-gyns had the highest proportion of underrepresented minorities (combined, 18.4%), especially black (11.1%) and Hispanic (6.7%) physicians” and that “underrepresented minority ob-gyns were more likely than white or Asians to practice in federally funded underserved areas or where poverty levels were high. In fact, among adult medical specialists, greater racial and ethnic diversity is found among obstetrician-gynecologists (ob-gyns).” The more astonishing fact is that black women are more than 10 times more likely to have a black female ob-gyn than a white one, 18 more times than having a white male one. Again, not supported by fact or math.
The double standards continue with regards to other issues equally. On immigration for example, progressives appear to care more about illegal migrants than homeless and poor minorities born in America. It is as if they want an immigration policy for immigrants first versus one that benefits U.S. citizens first. They do this disingenuously also by conflating legal immigration with illegal immigration. They run cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles which are reflective of their policies that result in mass homelessness, failing government public schools and streets littered with syringes and feces.
Another example is abortion. Progressives openly claim to be the party of science but consider a baby in the womb a clump of cells (which anatomy, biology and even ultra-sounds refute) when they are actual human beings. Just this week, an Alabama democrat state lawmaker defended abortion by saying "Some kids are unwanted, so you kill them now or kill them later." This is a pervasive view for these same people advocate for gun control because guns kill but since Roe V. Wade, there have been about 1.5 million deaths because of guns but 60 million due to abortion. But if you support any views in the opposite of liberals, they attempt to silence you and deplatform you.  I know, I have been permanently banned from twitter.
I would hope that facts would be more valuable than the incessant claims of racism that progressives incessantly spew. Sure, racism exist, and it will always exist, but it is not as bad as the left projects. Fact is you will never ever be able to get rid of all racism or individual racist beliefs no more than you can eliminate all murder. This quest for eutopia is delusional and sociopathic. I just want to be treated as a unique individual with my own personal agency, not as a group, for I am an individual first rather than a part of a monolith.

It is an objective historical fact that one of the more noxious and defiling contribution Democrats inflected on Blacks in America was the concept of segregation based on separate but equal. This was a consequence of White Democrats (nationwide) desire to keep the races separate. Before the Civil war, there was no reason to have laws segregation blacks or slaves from whites, it was the de facto outcome of the peculiar institution.  However, after the war, unattested fears of Blacks being unfit to exist in a civilized white world in concert with being consider brute who posed threats to white women, states (mostly in the South) started to put laws and ordinances on the books that legalized racial segregation in public facilities. Nine states, from 1887 to 1992 implemented such laws which would extend segregation principles in public facilities including but not limited to parks, restaurants, trains, schools, cemeteries, and theatres. In aggregate, these were called Jim Crow and they persisted from the 1870s into the 1950s.

The civil rights movement in the U.S., especially the south, was started to end the practice of segregation. However, Democrats fought tooth and nail against this and eventually had to concede defeat when the Civil Rights Act of 1964 became law. However, it seems that history has a funny way of repeating itself and the same liberal progressive actors that introduced the norm of segregation more than 140 years ago are back at it again, yet this time with a unique co-conspirator.

It seems that segregation is all the rage presently, on U.S. colleges and universities. Now true, there has always been some form of (self) segregation on predominately white college campuses by different racial and ethnic groups, especially Blacks, but the way in which it is happening now is an indignity to those that pushed so hard to disprove the fallacy of separate being agnate to equal. Across America, because of identarian politics, post-modernism and political correctness, white progressives have been able to reinject the infectious prion of race differences in Black behavior that promotes and support segregation. As Alfred Edmond, Jr wrote, “Segregation was never good for black people. We were not better off during Jim Crow. Not even a little bit. Those who wax nostalgically about how we thrived during segregation and leveraged it to our economic advantage to support and sustain healthy, strong black communities are just straight-up wrong.”

The new standard is to promote and engender social division as opposed to encourage collective assimilation. From California State University to the University of Connecticut (where there will even be a dormitory specifically for males who identify as black) separate but equal is being promulgated as acceptable. It doesn’t stop there. From no white allowed pool parties to a Black Georgia Mayor Banning White Reporters from Press Conference to Black only graduations at Harvard, the nonsense borders of something that should be outlined as a mental disorder in the Diagnostic manual of mental disorders. Last I heard, institutions of higher learning were supposed to be places where young adults. In contrast, Black students seem to want to stick their heads in the sand or retract in their turtle shell away from the real world they will eventually have to function in.

This in my view, just serves to polarize and fracture the social fabric of the U.S. We cannot ignore that there is an existential value in learning from others that have different perspectives on issues with which we are all concerned with? Why is it okay to assign acceptable bias to non-whites while simultaneously assign negative bias regarding race to whites? This is as stupid as it is inconsistent. What does skin color have to do with thoughts, ideas, competence or ability? Boy, history certainly has a bazaar way of repeating itself.

The progressive liberal democratic Russiangate narrative is like the creature from the Black Lagoon and the Blob mixed together. It continues to evolve into a different mutant beast from day to day. It will mutate and alter as the Democrats in Congress see fit but no matter what, it will not go away for a long time. As it goes on, the only reality is that we will continue to hear the left scream RUSSIA and RUSSAIN COLLUSION. Why do we know this? Because Cummings, Nadler and Schiff all are on record basically saying that Trump will be under investigation for the duration of his presidency, with or without evidence. The scorched earth approach of the house is likely to turn up something for randomization shows that something is likely to stick some where when you throw stuff all around the room.

I find it comical that Democrats for example are still making a big fuss about Trump’s tax returns as if Putin has sent him a 1099-MISC tax form not to mention that US Tax returns are just digests of a person's wages and deductions. There is no special line in them requesting all income from black people, women, Asians or Russians for that matter seeing that a personal tax return is not a comprehensive leger of monetary transactions. Maybe the House Democrats do expect or think that Putin or the KBG will be sending Trump a 1099-MISC, but I doubt it.

Democrats as many Americans expect Trump not to be impeached for collusion with Russia nor should he. If you want to keep it one hundred, Trump’s true crime was running for President and beating Hillary fair and square after the establishment and its media had prognosticated that he would not and that a Trump victory was impossible. Democrats will never man-up and admit this because they are too stupid. Think about it, only an idiot blames one factor or individual for everything that is wrong all the time incessantly especially as it pertains to political outcomes. Now there is nothing wrong with Democrats blaming Russia and maybe there could be some good too come of it. However, if it is just to get Trump because one is a sore loser, the price to pay maybe hell.

Possibly some good albeit unintentional, could come from this as I said. Maybe by investigating everything Trump ever did could lead to something positive like better enforcement of financial laws & regulations, maybe even lead us to finally address the criminal class on Wall Street. I do not think that I am the only one that think that it is hypocritical to go after and imprison Paul Manafort and none of the big wigs that caused the financial crisis of 2007-08 or the Podesta brothers. To keep it real, Manafort’s only crime was working for a victorious Trump's campaign. But if nothing sticks, as I said prior, there will be hell to pay from the nearly 63 million people who voted for Trump, including Reagan Democrats (Democrats that voted for Obama at least once) and Independents. This will only reinforce the narrative that Democrats are stepping on each other, using investigations, many of which are duplicitous, and their new power in the House to fish for any dirt they can find in Trump's past, present and future (2020 campaign). Many, even some never Trumper’s will begin to ask simple questions because it really appears that the feelings of Democrats are presented to take precedence over their vote simply because some people don’t like Trump plane and simple. Causing personal discomfort and having one’s feelings hurt are not grounds to remove or impeach a sitting president. It is as if as I presented before, Trump’s actual crime is having the impudence of running for president and winning.

But such is the nature of the fickle, take Wikileaks for example. A lot of Hillary supporters, to this day, attribute culpability to Wikileaks for her loss. Now they have curved Manning for refusing to testify against Wikileaks.  This democratic theater will only further divide the nation and reflects a precursor to totalitarian rule, since they really do not care about the country rather unfettered power and control. All and all, this manufactured confusion staged by the Democrats' is grotesquely irrational and reprehensible – and all due to their maniacal preoccupation to unseat and destroy Trump.

All of this should have been expected. Not only is the Democratic party leadership hellbent on impeachment they remain steady as she goes, which means they do not have to focus on offering telling policy that would benefit all citizens in general but rather will result in further division because it enables them to exhaust all their energy on the exploitation of identity politics.  Moreover, it sends a more draconian message – don’t fck with the establishment or we will throw the legal books at you. This is what is meant by weaponizing politics and the legal system. And why do we have all of this? Because Hillary Clinton’s willy nilly proposing collusion between Trump and Russia (Putin). Now, however it is falling apart and all the same Democrats saying wait for the findings of the Mueller report are pulling full steam ahead to show how mad and how much they hate Trump, which means they require another lame excuse to blame Trump for Hillary losing and because the Mueller report most likely will not validate their Russian conspiracy claims. LMBAO.

To be sincere, I want all this Russian shi# to be over but unfortunately, proponents of this conspiracy are too invested psychologically in this surrealism to get over it, even if the Mueller reports demonstrates there was no collusion, they will be like the cats that say Tupac and Elvis are still alive. They (especially the predominantly left-leaning US media) will be the modern day equals to Tiberius Gracchus (At least what I understand from reading Plutarch) and other Roman emperors who used lese-majesty laws to go against Octavius and other opponents, including senators.

I’m just saying this Russian ish is foul, phony and unproductive and only an idiot can accept such as true given the cats promulgating such in the past have interfered in elections for decades around the globe inclusive even of murdering elected leaders. It took almost a decade for the US to get out of the McCarthy era, but 2019 cats too emotional, poorly read, and woke to get where I’m coming from. Funny to me because the Democrats do not see, with this Russina stuff, they are just reaassuring President Trump's re-election.

Speaking on liberal progressive Democrats, Malcom X once stated: "The white Liberal differs from the white Conservative only in one way; the Liberal is more deceitful, more hypocritical, than the Conservative. Both want power, but the White Liberal is the one who has perfected the art of posing as the Negro's friend and benefactor and by winning the friendship and support of the Negro, the White Liberal is able to use the Negro as a pawn or a weapon in this political football game, that is constantly raging, between the White Liberals and the White Conservatives. The American Negro is nothing, but a political football." From this statement one can decipher two things: 1] that Malcom X had no love or respect for the progressive liberal left of American politics and 2] in many respect, he viewed Blacks who did in the similar vein as mindless serfs being conditioned to accept without question as their slave ancestors did.

What is ironic is what he spoke that day in 1963 is the present reality for Black America. In just 30 years, the Democratic Party has morphed into some sort of Star Trek space anomaly. When Clinton was President as well as Obama, border protection and building walls along the border was all the rage. Presently it is not and the new bevy of the Democratic mind meld are in lock step to make sure open borders are the future of America. Why? Because the Democrats are fighting for illegal aliens and have become more valuable to their ability to acquire and maintain power, that they have replaced African Americans on their hierarchy of political social Darwinism.

Everywhere one looks Blacks are taken a second place behind illegal immigrants. One of the biggest places we see this is in the criminal justice system. Take California for example. Since the late 1980s, activist in California were trying to obtain government funding to assist in reducing over crowing in jails and hire more public defenders.  The funding was never available according to law makers. The tune is different today because funding is being cut for public defenders in California while inordinate funds are being found to protect the rights of criminal illegal aliens. Last year in California, lawmakers approved $45 million to expand legal services for immigrants to assist more than 2 million people living in the state illegally and to protect them from deportations. Two years before that, the state put in place a “sanctuary state” bill to expand “sanctuary city policies, prohibiting state and local law enforcement agencies, including school police and security departments, from using resources to investigate, interrogate, detain, detect or arrest people for immigration enforcement purposes.”

This is happening all across the country. Recently in Denver Mayor Michael Hancock announced plans to set aside hundreds of thousands of dollars to form an immigrant legal defense program and similar efforts are being introduced in San Francisco and Seattle. In Washington State a bill was just passed that prohibits discrimination by employers and landlords “based on citizenship or immigration status.” As one writer and radio host put it: “In other words, if an employer had two equally-qualified candidates to choose from — one a citizen and one an illegal immigrant who had been deported several times — and the employer hired the citizen, this could be grounds for a lawsuit on the immigrant’s behalf…Under Washington state law, they would have the right to a cause of action against that employer if they were discriminated against because of their legal status...Now federal law might come in and have something to say about that, but this is what Washington state law would say.

I do not mind helping people but I do expect US citizens should come first. In California, Blacks are suffering yet are being ignored. Although Black people in California are just 9 percent of the population of Los Angeles County, yet are nearly 40 percent of the homelessness. The same is true for San Francisco. The research results are startling. While 5 to 6 percent of San Francisco’s population is black, more than 40 percent of the city’s homeless population is black.

Albeit I am focused on race, on the micro level, on the macro level all American citizens loose when our resources are not used for the tax payers that provide them. Clearly Democrats have other interest than serving the people born in America, and have all but relegated the Black vote to side chick status, fact is US policy should focus on US citizens and the working men and women who want access to opportunity and a safe place to live. This is only possible if we address illegal immigration. Economically, it has been estimated that Illegal immigration costs taxpayers in all 50 states approximately $90 billion. In California it cost $12.3 billion to educate the children of illegal immigrants annually in grades K-12.

The progressive focus on taking care of criminal illegal aliens severely impacts outcomes for the worse in the African American community. First most illegal aliens come to America with very few years of schooling. This means they will likely end up in low-paying wage jobs. Not only will this put them in competition with poor blacks in the US with similar educational attributes but also other immigrants who came to the US before them. Thus with a larger pool of low skilled workers, wages will go down because there will be a surplus of workers to jobs. This point was hammered by then-chairwoman of the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform, the late great Barbara Jordan of Texas in 1994 when she testified before the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. She stated: "Unlawful immigration is unacceptable. … Failure to develop more effective strategies to curb unlawful immigration has blurred distinctions between legal and illegal immigrants. ... The Commission is particularly concerned about the impact of immigration on the most disadvantaged within our already resident society — inner city youth, racial and ethnic minorities, and recent immigrants who have not yet adjusted to life in the U.S."

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, recently said that "We are a nation and land of laws, not just [one where] some people are subject to laws and others are not." This maybe the only time to date I have agreed with her. However, I wonder why this isn’t the standard with respect illegal immigration? Because Black people are not reproducing enough to provide them with the unconditional and unearned votes we give them. Through democratic supported eugenic genocide in the form of abortions and Planned Parenthood, Blacks just do have as many children as the used to. And if democrats get their way for a mother to be able to decide to murder a child after it has been born, our population will really start to evaporate. This is one reason why AOC support people not having more children – just bring them over from 2000 miles below the Mexican border already made. Yes, in 2019, Liberals side with illegal immigrants over Blacks born in America, for criminal illegal aliens are the new black.

When I look at the current state of U.S. liberal democrats, it reminds of watching a semi-cool white person on the streets of Memphis trying to juk.  They are more than out of place, off rhythm and seemingly unaware of both, which puts them out of touch with reality and the perspectives of others watching them.  It is as if they did not learn any lessons from the victory of Donald Trump in 2016 and like zombies, respond to only things that they see the mainstream media tell them to be outraged about. No real issues, just outrage here, outrage there, here an outrage, there an outrage, everywhere an outrage. Russia collusion or Russian hacking. Trump tweeted this or Trump tweeted that. It is like the dance of the person in Memphis, awkward and an indicator of the dim electoral future liberals have in the U.S. if they do not get on beat.

For starters, they saw what worked for Trump and Bernie Sanders yet they pull out the same old veer offense that continues to turn the ball over after 3 downs. They should be able to observe that they need a similar and HONEST message presented by a younger and more genuine person, not just some east or west coast big wig city elite to garble mumbo jumbo on 30 second commercials that don’t offer policy solutions for everybody.  Instead they run out city slick carpetbagger named Ossoff to run in a district in which he did not live in and spend $23million and worse, did not harvest as many votes as Rodney Stooksbury, the Democrat listed on the ballot during the general election last November. Or as Newsweek put it: “Rodney Stooksbury, who raised no money and had no campaign website or online presence

Trump can say the word puzzy and liberals run out of their house to protest, complain and destroy property, yet seem to forget and equally said nothing and saw no offence in President Obama bombing kids around the globe and cats in Flint have no water to drink and being ordered by democrats to pay for what they cannot consume or face foreclosure. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee just recently called for President Trump to resign for his tweets attacking Mika Brzezinski.  Last I heard the dozens isn’t illegal.  Putting it plainly it is like Mika saying “Donald you dumb and ride the retarded bus” and Trump responding “yo momma smoke crack rock.” End of story (if you cannot stand the heat get out of the kitchen).

This is just one problem; how do they justify calling themselves liberal or progressive if they ignore global suffering and continue to promulgate neoliberal policy that causes suffering not only in the US but around the globe because of wars promoting the global imperialistic goals of neoliberal republicans and democrats?

This dance doesn’t end there.  As 2018 quickly approaches, they still lack not only a solid policy message but also candidates.  They have Tulsi Gabbard who is on the record calling for restoring Glass-Steagall, consistently is opposed to regime change, is against any cuts to Medicare or Social Security and the NSA’s bulk collection of data. But Gabbard speaks her mind and equally goes against the core liberals in the democratic party.  This faction question her passion for LGBT and abortion rights. They also will never forget that she doesn’t tote the party line on fundamental Islamic terrorism noting that for over the last decade most terrorist attacks conducted around the world are the result of “radical Islamic ideology.”  Even more of a concern for the democratic establishment was her resolution she introduced to prioritize Christians and Yezidis — when granting refugee status.

But Gabbard is ignored and even avoided, just as several other noteworthy leaders of the new school like Kimberly Ellis (as the vote for the Democratic party chair of California held its election demonstrated) and former Ohio state senator Nina Turner. Instead they prefer others like New Jersey senator Cory Booker, Maryland congressman John Delaney and relative newcomer Senator Kamala Harris of California.

Harris is interesting, she has come to political fruition after she was cut off by her colleagues in the Senate while she questioned Attorney General Jeff Sessions (an event that she quickly used to raise tens of thousands of dollars) and came to politics being the 29-year-old girlfriend of California Assembly Speaker Willie Brown when he was 60. In 1994 Brown named Harris to the California Medical Assistance Commission, before that he appointed her to the state Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. She was described by several people at the Capitol as Brown’s girlfriend.”  Harris barley was elected California’s Attorney General in 2010 by about 50,000 after provisional ballots were counted. While AG, her department argued against expanding the early release program for inmates on the basis that it would deplete the cheap (slave) labor force.  Many see Harris as a corporatist and in the mold of the establishment democratic core of the state.

These inconsistencies make the democrats seem fickle.  Take the recent health care debate ironically, in California. Nurses, unions and average citizens were overwhelming in support of what was described as a single payer Medicare for all (the Healthy California Act). But Democrats who maintain complete control of the state to pass a bill like this, did the opposite. In support of corporate donors in the healthcare, insurance and pharmaceutical industries, Democratic state Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon helped to block a Democrat-sponsored bill to create the Healthy California Act. Reports indicate that Rendon has taken in more than  $101,000 from pharmaceutical companies and another $50,000 from major health insurers over the past 5 years. This is par for the course considering that the California Democratic Party has received more than $1.2 million from the specific groups opposing the bill, and more than $2 million from pharmaceutical and health insurance industry donors.

Democrats must show that they are the party of the people. However, their addiction to corporate plutocratic funding seems to prevent them from being able to do such. Not to mention that it abrogates the voices of the citizenry they claim to represent. The liberal establishment wing of the Democratic party is Cleary out of touch, out of step and off beat – awkward choreography sure to lead them to where they do not want to be in 2018.

After the civil war in America, several new political terms were introduced into our lexicon, one of which was the word carpetbagger. A carpetbagger was a northerner who moved to the South during Reconstruction (1863–1877 or 1865-1870 depending who you read) mainly to seek political office in an area where they did not live. To be accurate, during Reconstruction most of the Republican governors in the South were from the North.  This past week in Georgia, where I live and in a district, I don’t, a carpetbagger managed to place himself in a run-off for the Georgia sixth congressional district and his name is Jon Ossoff. I will expound on this and in the process, introduce a new term of political etiquette, the “vacuum cleaner.”

Ossoff like carpetbaggers back then were only concerned with self-interest that could be attained via exploitation. Exploitation in the sense that he is trying to profit by making use of and benefiting from resources from other cats outside of the 6th district to use the same district to enrich himself – nothing more or nothing less. Ask anyone in the 6th about him and you will quickly find out they don’t know him or ever see him. He has raised millions of dollars from folk that ain’t even in Georgia just to try and get the Republican seat in the special election vacated by Dr. Tom Price.

There are several reasons I consider Ossoff a carpetbagger throwback yet I will stick to two: that he doesn’t live in the district he is running to represent and that he cannot even vote for himself in said district.  I could add that I personally think Ragin Edwards, an actual East Cobb county and 6th district resident would have been the best choice for the Democratic party to support, but I should have known better based on the racist history of the Democratic party, that they would support a white man over a black woman who also happens to be a graduate of Georgia Tech. Then there is the fact that very little of his financial support comes from Georgians or folk that live in the 6th district. One source reported that he has raised tens of thousands from many of the Hollywood liberal and progressive elite, which proffers the question, what are they buying? Ossoff’s campaign, per Politico had raised more than $8 million by the election date with more than 95 percent coming from out of state. The Atlanta Journal Constitution noted: “If 95 percent of Ossoff’s $8.3 million was from out of state, that means 5 percent was from Georgians. And 5 percent of $8.3 million is $415,000.

I find it hard to consider that folk like Debra Messing, Rosie O’Donnell, Kyra Sedgwick, Chelsea Handler and actresses Jane Fonda know anything about the needs of Georgians to even comment or tell folk who to vote for. Not to mention that they most likely send their kids to private schools and have private security and therefore are unqualified to remark on such public issues on behalf of citizens involved in selecting their new representative. But who cares if out of state cats fund a Sixth District’s Georgia candidate for the U.S. Congress who also doesn’t live in the district they are running to represent and can’t vote for himself in said district? True, Ossoff did get most the votes in the primary for the 6th district, but in terms of basic math, it was less than Republicans and independents combined.

But such logic is lost on the new political class of what I call “vacuum cleaners.”  I describe vacuum cleaners as a byproduct of this new social media age.  They are hyper-partisan and typically are liberal progressive types that believe they are tolerant but are not.  The suck up every and all bits of information that supports their political view and on places like twitter, RT their views which they get from other folk, all day long.  A good sign that they are a vacuum cleaner is if most the folk they RT are from DC, New York, or California.  You may see a Massachusetts, Chicago or Atlanta person RTd but not as much as an inside the beltway or NYC cat. Honestly, I think Democrats need to suck up this L because this past Tuesday they had their best chance in Georgia but the lost it.

The hissy fits of the Democratic Party over the election victory of Donald Trump continue. If one pays strict attention to their whining, it all seems to be a cloak for inherent and clandestine fears based on emotion more so than pragmatism and reason.  It reminds me of how one of my uncle friends described being in Vietnam when I was between 11 and 12 years old (1973-74). He told me about how what he would never forget outside of the sounds of war, were the marshy fields he and his company would be dropped off in, feet tall above the head of Elephant grass.  He said these fields were packed with booby traps but what scared him most was not being able to see around him.  The tall grass in addition to the grown-man high ant mounds, concealed the unexpected, seeing that the Elephant grass was tall enough to hide an entire military detail ready for ambush.

I suspect that this is how the democrats feel.  As if they were dropped off in a field of Elephant grass, not know what the future holds in store for them.  Could it be they expect to be invalidated by Trump and the GOP? Could it be that they fear Trump will make good on his campaign promises and lead to the destruction of the Democratic Party for years to come? Or could it be it will show the US citizenry how democratic policy has placed America in its current predicament?

All are possibilities.  Let’s face it, no matter how democrats and the media try to paint Obama’s eight years as a success, math shows the opposite. The math, as pure science reveals the truth that politically the democrats are powerless and stuck in a destitute defensive posture. Thus their primary weapon is crying and/or attacking the incoming administration through mere emotional displacement. Jamil Smith attacks Trump on his “intellectual laziness” suggesting that this “may be the most dangerous thing about him,” and that “Vladimir Putin wanted Donald Trump to be presidentof the United States, and the Russian government deliberately tried to help him win the election.” Jamile Bouie suggest that “Trump is defined by his shameless disregard, and even disdain, for the bonds that hold political life together.” Or in the case of some, they simply stick to praise of Putin as being evidence of incompetence and dishonesty.  All unfounded and groundless allegations pure in rhetoric singularly.

All of these are just emotional invective.  These writers will never back up their words with tangible accomplishments of President Obama to compare these statements of rhetorical grandiose to purport the accuracy of their assertions. Never will they objectively examine real life measure of American success and economic improvement like the Housing Affordability Index for example. The Housing Affordability Index measures whether or not a typical U.S. family makes enough money to just to qualify for a mortgage loan on a typical home let alone buy one. But this will never be included in their writings because data indicates that US housing affordability is at its lowest point since the fourth quarter of 2008. This most likely is a consequence of stagnate wage growth that cannot keep up with increasing home prices.

They may cite job creation as an indicator of Obama’s success but will go no further than the Whitehouse press statement to examine the fine details of the data, for if they did, as a new study by economists from Harvard and Princeton note, nearly 95%of the 10 million new jobs created during the Obama era were part-time or temporary positions. I won’t even include that additional analysis of liberal media pundits will not note or question how many of these new jobs are being taken by people that already have a job or even two. In all accuracy, since Obama took office, there remains 1 million fewer workers, overall, working than before he took office (Another actor to consider when attempting to comprehend why US housing affordability is so low and wage growth so paralyzed).

In simple terms, although Obama did inherit an economic mess, his policies have led to deteriorating affordability in home ownership, a segment of the U.S. economy that traditionally has proffered parents with the best opportunity to safeguard a better future for their children. Instead, his Keynesian economic approach has added another obstacle for lower-income Americans regardless of race. I mean, the housing market bubble burst almost 10 years ago, yet sales and construction in this sector are well below their peaks in the early 2000s meaning the housing sector is stagnate along with wage growth.

Thus to abrogate the use of data, anything is not only open to vapid complaints by democrats but is also the fault of the man who has not even been sworn in as president yet.    This is the ultimate profile of the traumatized individual. This can be made even worse for progressive peace-loving democrats when we include Obama’s foreign policy record.

When Obama took office he vowed to end the war in Afghanistan.  This too has not happened and to use the same language pundits use to describe the statements of Trump, was a lie.  Not only has he increased military operations in Afghanistan, he has dropped more bombs, employed more drone killings than Bush, and has killed inordinate more innocent civilian in the country when compared to his predecessor. Then there is Libya and Yemen. The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize winning PresidentAdministration has sold more weapons than any other American president since World War II, totaling plus $200 billion from 2008 to 2015. Sales to Saudi Arabia alone has swollen to $115 billion. Now he has sent US Special Forces to Lithuania to saber rattle on the Russian border.

Democrats and in particular Obama, really do see Donald Trump’s election victory as a personal repudiation of his pluralistic and globalist agenda and legacy. Add to this that democrats need to not only figure out how to have policy messages that include all instead of dividing the nation in to mutually exclusive voting blocs based on labels and message of race, gender and sexuality, they also have to figure out how to formulate new integrative domestic policies with how to communicates those policies with a single unified message for all (and this can’t be done by just speaking at colleges, universities, unions and big cities).

The democrats understand that what they have to stand on are Obama’s past eight years and the political agenda of the democratic elite.  While murder rates in traditionally democratic cities like Chicago, Memphis, Baltimore and DC are out of the atmosphere, they are doubling down. By some estimates, the Obama Administration and sanctuary cities and their mayor including in NYC, San Francisco and Chicago spend around $113 billion on illegal aliens annually but they ignore that there are U.S. citizens that can use these funds including but not limited to homeless veterans, our inner cities, our youth and/or rural areas, all being poor black and white folk alike.

Yes the Democrats have their own battle of Ia Drang Valley and they cannot see for the Elephant grass and are taking fire from all sides yet responding by shooting in all directions and at anything that moves from a Simon & Schuster book deal for Milo Yiannopoulos, to theHBCU band from Talladega College performing at the inauguration to GM CEO Mary Barra being appointed to Trump’s business Advisory council (yet don't mention how Obama pimped US tax payers for GM), to Putin, WikiLeaks and so-called ‘fake news’. They have been dropped off in the middle of their own Landing Zone (LZ) X-ray and do not know what to do. They never look at themselves to determine if their battle plan was defective yet instead blame everything else. But now they have run out of replacement parts for the Iroquois “Huey” helicopters that carried them into battle and are running out of ammunition and have few if any reinforcements arriving for some time. The Battle of the Ia Drang Valley was one of the most noteworthy battles of the Vietnam war, likewise, the battle the Democrats have on their hands after the 2016 presidential election loss, will be just as significant.

When I think of Hillary Clinton, and the strong support she has from black people, it simply blows my mind.  Here is this woman, an elite northern school graduate from middle class Chicago whom was not only president of the young republicans but also a Goldwater girl in 1964 in the form of both volunteer and supporter. In case you may have forgotten, Barry Goldwater was the first Republican to win the Deep South since Reconstruction by campaigning to defeat the Civil Rights Act and consequently was the main person whom motivated Hillary Clinton to get into politics.

As expected, black politicians have lined up in like they were camping out to get the latest IPhone or new pair of Yeezies to endorse her. It as if by doing such and showing your loyalty to master, she will let you move into the big house as a reward for being faithful to the Clintons.  This was the way it was in 1992.

In 1992 when black folk put Bill Clinton in office in addition to some theatrics of his own (playing the saxophone on the Arsenio Hall show and walking up to an American citizen during the debate to answer questions directly), African American communities across America in rural and urban areas were suffering and had been devastated economically. If one is old enough to recall, one reason for this was Bill Clinton’s ability to say things to the black community that he would say in opposite to white communities. On the same day in the morning Bill Clinton would be singing Lift Every Voice and Sing at a NAACP or black Baptist church meeting and later on that night speaking to a room full of Dixiecrats tell them how he was willing to be tougher on crime and make our cities safer than republicans ever could.

Bill, the democrats, the service economy, big banks, Wall Street and the average white American won but not black folk, we got the shaft. The late 1980s and early 1990s was a period of mass losses in factories across the nation and the diminution of U.S. manufacturing.  All because big corporations were moving abroad as a consequence of globalization and in search of cheaper labor and fewer regulations.  This continued at an even larger scale and greater pace with Clinton as President.

At the start of his presidency, America saw unemployment rates among young black men multiply to pornographic levels. As a direct result, crime increased and we were watching the start of the crack cocaine epidemic. Now Blacks were in essence caged in segregated public housing hoping that the Democratic president would do something to help as he promised during his campaign. He was able to secure 83 percent supportfrom black voters in 1992.

Unfortunately under the Clinton regime we observed the largest increase in federal and state prison inmates in American history. He was firmly in support of the sentencing disparity for crack versus powder cocaine, which not only resulted in disproportionate arrest and sentencing for African Americans, it also increased funding for drug-law enforcement as a continuation of prior republican administrations war on drugs.  He also pushed for a federal “three strikes”law and in 1994 he signed a $30 billion crime bill that mandated life sentencesfor some three-time offenders, and provided $16 billion for state prison grants and the expansion of police forces among other things.

By 1996, after securing 84 percent black vote to gain a second term and using coded language about race (crime, welfare, crack cocaine) to divide the nation and divert attention from the economy that worked only for the top one percent, the federal the penal budget became twice the amount that had been allocated to food stamps

The next move for his administration was to cut billions from public-housing and child-welfare (Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC)) budgets and have them re-directed to increasing incarceration. In fact, Clinton cut funding for public housing more than 60 percent ($17 billion) while increasing funding for prisons by more than 170 percent ($19 billion).

So what Bill Clinton supported from a policy perspective was what democrats in large urban areas had been supporting for the prior 50 years - discriminatory laws that keep black and poor people in their place while extracting lifeline resources that serve to sustain people during times of economic hardship. But this wasn’t enough for him; he had to go even beyond cruelty.

Next the Clinton Administration eliminated Pell Grants for prisoners seeking higher education to prepare for their release and overtly supported laws that would make it easier for public-housing agencies to deny shelter to anyone with any sort of criminal history.

It was President Clinton who proposed the “one strike and you’re out” initiative, which meant that families could be evicted from public housing because one member (or a guest) had committed even a minor offense – this was his brainchild. No black men whom had been released from prison with nothing could no longer return home to family if they lived in federally assisted housing or else the entire family would be kicked out. On top of this, the Clinton Administration promised, signed into law and made certain that anyone convicted of a felony drug offense would never be able to get federal financial aid if you had drug convictions.  He signed into law a lifetime ban on welfare and food stamps for anyone convicted of a felony drug offense.

When Bill was finished, more than half of working-age African-American with criminal records was now by legal sanction, burdened with congressional and presidential approved discrimination in housing, employment and access to education. Moreover, after his two terms as President, Clinton left the nation with the highest rate of incarceration in the world, thanks to his 1994 Crime Bill which saw conservatively, more than 80% percent of all drug offenders sent to prison being black men and the unemployment rate for non-college-educated black men (including those behind bars) being north of 40 percent - all with the approval and support of the current democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and the unusual accomplice of the black vote. Now I know many will say that this was Bill and Not Hillary. Truthfully they are one in the same – HILLBILL.

So all I am asking is what have the Clintons done to keep black folk voting for them other than belong to the Democratic Party? Why do impoverished Black people living from paycheck to paycheck support Hillary Clinton?

The housing bubble that precipitated the crash that created the Great Recession was done mostly on the backs of people of color. The bankers who profited from preying on the black communities got bailed out to the tune of trillions of taxpayer dollars; their victims mostly lost their homes. The perpetrators were never even indicted by the Obama administration, which had been tight with Wall Street from jump.

And it is bazaar how folk forget how she and her husband went after then Senator Obama.  In 2008 while campaigning in South Carolina Hillary suggested that Dr. King’s dream was wasn’t anything without President Lyndon B. Johnson passing the Civil Rights Act. Tim Russert, then the host for NBC Meet the Press said it was as if she was saying “it took a white man to get blacks to the mountaintop.” Then there is what Bill Clinton was reported to have said after it was reported in 2010 he was upset that Senator Ted Kennedy endorsed Barack Obama over Hillary. In the book Game Change written by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin it is reported in a conversation with Kennedy he said, A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee,” describing Senator Obama.  We won’t even speak on her dismal record with Black New Yorkers or Blacks across the nation while she served as the Senator from New York.

The simple truth is that Black Americans have been voting for the Democrats consistently for more than the past forty years and we have little if anything to show for it with the exception of a few Attorney Generals, a President, and a museum. Why, because economically, we have been shown but fail to acknowledge that the economic positions of the democratic clearly elucidate it as being the party of the affluent white collar white and no one else.

How can we forget or ignore that it was the Clinton administration that deregulated banks and Wall Street which was a major factor in the financial crisis the U.S. experienced in 2008 and had a more than disparate impact on African Americans compared to any other ethnic racial group in the country. And his relationship with Wall Street and Big banks is no different from his wife.  How else can folk get upwards of $250,000 for forty-five minute speeches without doing any actual work? The role of the practices of big banks and Wall Street on the African American community cannot be denied yet she panders to us like the man on the corner begging for some change. She may speak out about redlining practices that are discriminatory and illegal and predatory lending but the only time we see or hear from her, like most other democrats is when they want our votes and support while at the same time she is all buddy-buddy with the folk who are making it extremely hard for African Americans (the people she called super predators and deadbeats) to obtain a fair and equal economic footing in America. So again I just ask why impoverished Black people support Hillary Clinton.

For more than 40 years her party has collectively siphoned the African American vote without returning anything in exchange for our continuous and even subsistent electoral support and what have we received or to show for it economically?  A few social programs designed to make us helpless and dependent on government, the status of a permanant status as secondary class citizens in America just like during the Black Codes and Jim Crow, and historically high levels of crime in our communities, unemployment, poverty, incarceration rates, poorer health and wellness status and mass illiteracy.

I take it these basic public benefits are the aspects of Hillary Clinton’s policy that excites you and her base – have at it. Personally I deserve better and much, much more.
